Hello! I am Irene Chan. I am a designer, illustrator, art director, and an artist. Most importantly, I create really beautiful things, and I enjoy doing it.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I went to the US when I was 19, and I received my BFA degree in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art And Design. After living in Hong Kong > Savannah > Atlanta > Bay Area, I am now living in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and son.

My adventures in the art & design world:

Late 1990: Web Design
2000–2004: Digital Media + UI design
2004–2014: TV broadcast design, motion graphics
2015–present: Illustration

I switched my focus from broadcast design to illustration and art licensing in 2014. Some of my work is now licensed as children’s wall art, greeting cards, stationery and various home decor products. I am also the illustrator for the “Baby Loves Science” book series.

What is Eneri?

"Eneri" is the name of my design studio. It is "Irene" in reverse. Eneri.net was first launched in 1999. It was home to my experimental design website. Now the site has transformed its nature, yet the passion remains the same.
